Though, the Petitioners are not represented, however, an application seeking permission to withdraw the present Writ Petition has been filed, which is supported by an affidavit.
It has been asserted that the Writ Petition was filed seeking refund of Rs.30,00,000/- deposited by the Petitioners. However, subsequently, an Order-In-Original has been passed on 23.03.2026 creating a demand of Rs.2,02,44,406/- against which the Petitioners have filed an appeal. In lieu of pre-deposit a sum of Rs. 20,24,000/- has been adjusted.
Keeping in view the prayer made, the present application is allowed and the present Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
The present application is disposed of.
The earlier date i.e., 08.09.2026 stands cancelled.
