Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel.
This writ petition has been filed praying for the following relief :- "A. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the proceeding initiated by the respondent quahorities under section 129 of the CGST Act read with Section 20 of the IGST Act. B. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing detention order dated 21.02.2022 and the consequential notice dated 21.02.2022 and consequential order dated 01.03.2022 passed by Respondent No.3 under Section 129(3) of the CGST Act read with Section 20 of the IGST Act. C. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent no.3 to release the goods and vehicle without demanding any security."
After arguments were heard at some length, learned counsel for the petitioner states that petitioner shall avail statutory remedy as may be available to him under the provisions of C.G.S.T./U.P.G.S.T. Act, 2017 and, therefore, the writ petition may be dismissed as withdrawn.
In view of the aforesaid the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, leaving it open for the petitioner to avail such remedy as may be available to him under C.G.S.T./U.P.G.S.T. Act, 2017.
