The petitioner is stated to have filed a
representation before the Chief Commissioner, CGST,
Central Excise & Customs- Opposite Party No.1 vide
Annexure- 1 series (Petition dated 15.01.2019) for
redressal of his grievance regarding release of the seized
gold ornaments.
Regard
being
had
to
the
facts
and
submissions and without going into the merit of the case,
we dispose of the writ application, directing the Chief
Commissioner,
CGST,
Central
Excise
&
Customs-
Opposite Party No.1 to dispose of the representation of
the petitioner, by passing a reasoned order, within a
period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified
copy of this Order.
The petitioner is directed to supply a copy of the writ application containing all the Annexures along with the certified copy of this Order to the Opposite Party No.1 for convenience and reference to Annexure- 1. The writ application is accordingly disposed of.
Urgent certified copy of this Order be granted as per rules.
