Held

The High Court found that the rejection was made without considering the extended deadline provided by Notification No.67/2018-CT. The Court set aside the rejection and directed the authorities to reconsider the matter.

Facts

The petitioner's GST migration application was rejected because it was deemed incomplete, despite the petitioner filing it after the original deadline. The petitioner argued that a subsequent notification extended the deadline.

Key Issues

Whether the rejection of the GST migration application was valid considering the extended deadline provided by a subsequent notification and whether the petitioner was wrongly denied input tax credit.
