Heard Sri Shaik Meeravali, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it is a case of interference of police with the personal life and liberty as well as Matrimonial of the petitioner.

Sri V. Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, appearing for the respondents, on written instructions, brought to the notice of this Court that based on the complaint lodged by respondent No.7, a crime was registered in Crime No.233 of 2023 under Sections 427, 448 and 506 read with Section 34 IPC on the file of Piler Police Station and investigation was taken up. During the course of investigation, it was revealed that another case in Crime No.35 of 2023 under Section 498-A read with Section 34 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act had already been registered on the file of Madanapalle Police Station against Gundlu Mohan Reddy and others. It is further submitted that except for registration of the said crimes, the respondent police have neither harassed the petitioner nor threatened her to vacate the matrimonial home

Recording the above said submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
