Heard Miss Kananbala Roy Choudhury, learned Counsel for the Petitioner.
By way of this writ petition, the Petitioner has prayed for a direction to the Executive Engineer, Drainage Division, Chandikhol-Opp. Party No.3 to pay the balance amount to him payable under GST Act along with simple interest in accordance with law.
During the course of argument, learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks leave to withdraw this Petition with liberty to file a revised return under the Odisha Value Added Tax Act, 2005. It would be open to the Petitioner to follow up with the Opposite Parties as regards GST claim components in accordance with law.
While dismissing the writ petition as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for, it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any view on the tenability of the revised return.
