The petitioner has filed this writ petition with the following prayer: “It is therefore prayed that, this Hon’ble Court may be graciously pleased to issue Rule NISI, in the nature of any appropriate writ/writs and/or any other writ/writs and/or order/orders and/or direction/directions directing the Opp.Party No.3 to rectify the order dated 28.12.2023 (Annexure-1) which is apparent on the face of assessment order and pass a rectification order as per the application dated 23.01.2024 under Annexure-2, within a stipulated period in the interest of justice.”
In view of such limited prayer, this writ petition stands disposed of directing opposite party no.3 to take a decision on the application dated 23.01.2024 under Annexure-2 and make necessary correction in the order dated 28.12.2023, which is apparent on the face of the assessment order.
