The disposed of writ petition has been listed under heading ‘To Be Mentioned’ in continuation and pursuant to order dated 7th March, 2025. Paragraphs-1 and 2 from said order are reproduced below. “1. Mr. Mohanty, learned advocate appears on behalf of applicant, who was petitioner in the writ petition disposed of on order dated 20th January, 2025. He submits, prayer is for extension by two weeks of the period, for his client to file its Order No. 04. contention. Direction in disposal order was for it to be filed by 15th February, 2025. 2. Mr. Kedia, learned advocate, Junior Standing Counsel appears on behalf of revenue. He is to obtain instruction whether the adjudication is still pending or order has been made.”

By consent the application is taken up at this stage.

Mr. Kedia, learned advocate, Junior Standing Counsel appears on behalf of revenue and submits, the proceeding restored is still pending. Mr. Mohanty, learned advocate appears on behalf of applicant, who was writ petitioner.

Time to file applicant’s contention before the revenue authority is extended up to 28th March, 2025. In event it is not filed, the default direction in disposal order dated 20th January, 2025 should take effect immediately thereon.

The application is disposed of.
