Heard Shri Dheeraj Srivastava, the learned counsel for the applicant- Directorate General of GST Intelligence, Lucknow.
By means of the instant bail cancellation application, the applicant has sought cancellation of the bail order dated 08.08.2025 passed by this Court in Crl. Misc. Bail Application No.7382 of 2025 whereby the opposite party has been enlarged on bail.
There is no allegation in the petitioner that the opposite party is misusing the liberty of bail. The only submission of the learned counsel for the application is that it has been observed in the order that the offence in question is a compoundable offence and this observation is incorrect.
Without going into the correctness of the aforesaid contention of the learned counsel for the applicant, I am of the considered view that even if this contention is correct, this will not make out a ground for cancellation of bail granted to the opposite party.
Accordingly, the application lacks merit and the same is dismissed.
