ORDER:

Aggrieved by the non-payment of bill amount to the petitioner in relation to the completed works under Agreement No.15/2022-23 dated 14.02.2023, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard Sri J.U.M.V.Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri S.Satish Kumar, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Irrigation.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Irrigation on coutner submitted that, the bill has been uploaded in the NIDHI portal and the authorities have admitted to pay to a tune of Rs.38,49,910/- as against the claim made by the petitioner to a tune of Rs.32,44,494.25/- and sought four months time for such payment.

To the said submission, learned counsel for the petitioner reported no objection but prayed to grant reasonable time.

Taking into consideration the submissions of both the learned counsel and as the authorities are ready to pay the admitted amount to the petitioner, this court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition, at the admission stage with the following direction.

“The respondent Nos.2 to 5 are directed to release the legally admitted/entitled net amount to the petitioner at the earliest, and at any rate, within a period of four (04) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.”

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed. _____________________________
