as illegal, irregular, irrational, violative of article 14,19 (1) (g) and 21 of
Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to pay the total
amount of Rs.22,13,604/- plus other statutory return of payments like GST,
Seenerage charges, labour cess charges etc., to the petitioner for the said
works executed by him and pass

in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased
pleased to direct the respondents to process the payment of amount
Rs.22,13,604/- in respect of works done by me, for laying of C.C. Road from
D.No.2-14-22 to 2-14-28 near Rotary Club play ground, 4**^ Ward of
Christian Peta (Agreement No.99/2023-24, dated 15.12.2023, ROC
No.909(1)/2023/E1), providing CC Road at Atchayamma Colony from D.No.4-
3-102/6 to D.No.4-3-34 (Agreement No. 118/2023-24, dated 18.01.2024,
ROC No.909(11)/2023/E1) and for laying of the CC road from factory quarter
road to D.No.9-12-16 (Agreement No. 120/2023-24, dated 18.01.2024, ROC
No.909(12)/2023/E1), pending disposal of the main writ petition and pass.

The Court made the following:
ORDER:-
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was entrusted with the execution of the works for “1) providing C.C. Road from D.No.2-14-22 to 2-14-28 near Rotary Club play ground 4th Ward of Christian Peta vide Agreement No.99/2023-24, dated 15.12.2023, 2) providing CC Road at Atchayamma Colony from D.No.4-3-102/6 to D.No.4-3-34 vide Agreement No.118/2023-24, dated 18.01.2024, 3) for laying of the CC road from factory quarter road to D.No.9-12-16 vide Agreement No.120/2023-24, dated 18.01.2024. 2. It is submitted that the petitioner had completed the works entrusted to him and that the competent authority of the respondents had also approved the payment due and payable to the petitioner. It is also submitted that the same can be verified from the entries mentioned in the M-Book.
3.Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department, Smt. V.Sireesh Rani, learned Standing Counsel for the Municipalities and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning.
4.During the course of hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent municipalities submits that the works are completed and that the petitioner had also submitted his final bills, duly admitting the amounts payable to the petitioner.
5.Considering the submissions that the works completed by the petitioner is not disputed and also considering the endorsement in the M-Book, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition, directing the respondents to verify and release the payment due to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
