Heard learned counsel for the Parties.
Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- “It is therefore humbly prayed" that your Lordships would be graciously pleased to issue Rule Nisi & call upon the Opposite Party to show cause as to: Why a Writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ/Writs must not be issued against the Opposite Parties, to appoint the Petitioner as an Assistant CT & GST Officer, which comes under the Commissioner of CT & GST & is a Group-B State Cadre Post (in accordance to the Advertisement No.IIE-119/2022- 6490/OSSCof02.11.2022);

And may pass any other appropriate Writ/Writs and order/orders which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit, just and proper.”
Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that through highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has filed a representation vide Annexure-9 to the Writ Petition, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Opposite Party No.2 to take a decision on the above noted representation in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
