The petitioner is challenging the assessment order at Ext.P4 on the ground that principles of natural justice were not followed. 3. The petitioner has a statutory remedy of challenging the assessment order at Ext.P4 in appeal. Prima facie I am of the opinion that there is no violation of principles of natural justice in the light of observation of the assessing officer in the impugned assessment order. In the light of the fact that the petitioner has alternate and most efficacious remedy of preferring an appeal, the petition is dismissed. The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks time of two weeks for preferring appeal before the Appellate Authority. Accepting the statement of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner wants to approach the Appellate Authority challenging the impugned assessment order, the coercive steps if any initiated by the respondents for recovery of the amount pursuant to the assessment order shall be kept in abeyance for two weeks.
