(ORAL) The instant contempt petition alleges willful disobedience of the order dated 24.02.2026 (Annexure P-1), passed in CWP-5697-2026, vide which the following directions were issued:- “Learned counsel for respondents (on advance notice) submits that upon filing of appeal and compliance with provisions of Section 107(6) of CGST Act, 2017, there is no question of any recovery being effected and none is, in fact, being effected by the respondents. Necessary intimation to petitioner’s bank shall be conveyed, if no already done, within the next tow working days. In view thereof this writ petition, it is submitted, is rendered infructuous. Learned counsel for petitioner does not deny the same.”

The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the aforesaid order having been passed, no information was given to the bank, as a result of which the hold placed on the bank account of the petitioner has not been removed. Learned counsel representing respondent No.4, on instructions from Ms. Parul Kapur, Branch Manager, HDFC Bank, Branch Sector 20, Panchkula, who is present in Court, states that the requisite communication regarding the removal of the hold on the petitioner’s account has been issued, and the same has been effected.

That being so, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court, and the instant contempt petition is accordingly disposed of.
