While entertaining the writ petition, following orders were passed on 20.07.2026:- “Submission is that notwithstanding the mandate contained in Section 83(2) of the CGST Act, 2017, the attachment order has continued for a period of more than three years. Learned counsel for the respondent prays for and is allowed a week’s time to obtain instructions. List on 30.07.2026”

Learned counsel for the respondents states that appropriate instructions have been issued to the concerned bank on 14.08.2026 for attachment to be withdrawn. The order in that regard is taken on record.
