The writ petition was filed challenging recovery proceedings initiated to recover tax arrears based on the assessment order. This Court permitted the petitioner to avail One Time Settlement Scheme. The petitioner submitted that she wants to avail the Amnesty Scheme floated and that she wants to withdraw the writ petition. This Court is of the view that the petitioner is free to invoke the Amnesty Scheme notwithstanding the judgment subject to the review petition if she is entitled to the benefit of the Amnesty Scheme.
