THIS WRIT PETITION (CIVIL) HAVING COME UP FOR ADMISSION ON 02.02.2023, THE COURT ON THE SAME DAY DELIVERED THE FOLLOWING:

No. 1524/2023 2 JUDGMENT Petitioner has executed renovation works in the Government Medical College, Kalamassery, Ernakulam under 'Aardram' projects of National Health Mission, awarded to him vide Ext.P1 communication by the first respondent. According to the petitioner, the work was completed to the satisfaction of the first respondent.
However, the balance bill raised by the petitioner for an amount of Rs. 6,55,507/- along with 12% GST on that amount payable for the works executed by the petitioner is not released. It is also submitted that in spite of earnest efforts made by the petitioner including by making representations, the authorities have not considered the request, which constrained the petitioner to file this writ petition.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri. P.K. Ibrahim and learned Standing Counsel for the Kerala State Housing Board, Sri. V. Harish and perused the pleadings and materials on record.

The learned Standing Counsel for the Kerala State Housing Board submitted that the bill amount is admitted and is under process and at least one month time is required for releasing the same.
In that view of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of directing the competent among the respondents to release the bill amount to the petitioner, at the earliest and at any rate, within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
